As part of our commitment to the school we adopted in Anambra State, MPI developed a dedicated complex within the school to support learning, digital access and student development.
At the heart of the facility is an e-library powered by solar energy, creating access to digital learning resources while demonstrating the practical application of renewable energy within an educational environment.
The project brings together two priorities at the heart of the Foundation’s mission: education and clean energy.
By combining digital learning infrastructure with renewable power, we are creating an environment where students can access knowledge, develop digital skills and engage with opportunities beyond the boundaries of their immediate community.

In Anambra State, MPI has made a sustained commitment to strengthening education within the community we serve. Rather than treating community development as a one-off intervention, MPI has invested in the people and institutions that make quality education possible.
Through this programme, MPI has:
- Supported the employment and monthly remuneration of more than 50 teachers
- Supported ongoing teacher training and professional development
- Strengthened the capacity of schools to provide consistent, quality instruction
- Maintained a long-term commitment to teacher salaries and related support
The school has recorded improvements in learning outcomes and performance, strengthened teacher capacity and received recognition through multiple awards.

While delivering the NLNG Bonny–Finima Road Expansion Project, MPI identified an opportunity to address a significant environmental challenge within the project environment.
We undertook the clearance of a major waste accumulation, helping restore the affected area and improve the surrounding environment.
The intervention reflects an important part of our approach to responsible infrastructure development: our environmental responsibility does not end when the engineering scope is completed.

A 195kW solar and battery storage system across PLANE/DAI Nigeria offices in Abuja, Kaduna and Jigawa has helped reduce reliance on diesel generators by more than 50%.
Reliable electricity is essential to productivity. Across Nigeria, however, that reliability has traditionally depended heavily on diesel-powered generators.
MPI worked with PLANE/DAI Nigeria to develop a cleaner and more efficient alternative.
We installed a combined 195kW solar photovoltaic and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), integrated with solar carports across their offices in Abuja, Kaduna and Jigawa.
The intervention has helped PLANE/DAI reduce its reliance on diesel-powered generators by more than 50%, significantly lowering its carbon footprint and supporting its sustainability and ESG objectives.
The system has also enhanced operational productivity, reduced energy costs and improved overall energy performance.
