UNICEF Pharma Warehouses

South East, Nigeria

23 Months

100% Completed
M-P Infrastructure Limited was awarded the contract by UNICEF Nigeria for the upgrade and construction of four medical warehouses as part of a nationwide initiative targeting 22 facilities across the country. The project has been successfully completed and officially handed over. The upgraded pharmaceutical-grade warehouses, located in Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Imo, and Enugu States, are designed to support the safe storage and distribution of critical drugs and vaccines.
Each facility includes temperature and humidity-controlled environments, air-conditioning systems, cold room storage, and dedicated laboratory spaces. These features ensure full compliance with stringent pharmaceutical warehousing standards. This effort is part of a broader program launched in August 2023 by UNICEF in collaboration with the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Programme (NTBLCP), aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s healthcare supply chain.
By delivering facilities that meet international pharmaceutical grade specifications, the project enhances the safe handling and accessibility of essential medical products, contributing to improved healthcare delivery across the region.
