Corporate Social Responsiblity
At M-P Infrastructure we believe that impacting the communities where we operate is vital. From the communities where our sites are built and maintained to towns where our fiber runs through, we are committed to creating opportunities and investing in people across the continent.
Our goal is to elevate our partners, customers, suppliers and host communities to create positive change, by being innovators, leaders and contributors to an inclusive society and a healthy environment where MPI and everyone we touch can endure and thrive.
As part of being an impactful and a sustainable company, we bring people together, help provide education and employment opportunities to make a difference in their lives.
Our dedication to empowering communities and improving lifestyle outcomes begins in our host communities. Notably, in Awka we have built a modern warehouse and office complex where a lot of our local people are trained and hired to support the work force. We have also executed streetlight and road resurfacing projects making it easier for local residents to commute better.
Our best investment is in our people, and that’s why we work together with the Nnamdi Azikiwe University to offer eligible candidates the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree with full tuition coverage. We also endow an engineering professorial chair specific to supporting research in new technology and innovation for telecoms and renewable energy.
Today MPI and Keep Hope Alive Initiative are working to connect young people to the skills and training they need to succeed in a rapidly changing global economy. In this regard we are creating the right interventions that enable them remain in school and the opportunity to get hands on experience working with us.
